The Azcapotzalco Culture House is located in what was the city hall. The building is a good example of Porfirian-time architecture, as it is decorated with stained glass, fountains, gardens, and a monumental clock brought directly from Paris to be installed on the upper side of the facade. Here is the mural La Herencia Tepaneca en el Umbral del Tercer Milenio by Arturo López Bustos.
Cultural dissemination activities and temporary exhibitions are organized here. It has three exhibition halls in which dimensional works are displayed, the Sala Tezozómoc is the biggest. The place is adorned with the gardens "Las rosas" and "Naranjos".
In 1986 the building was declared a historic monument by the National Institute of History and Anthropology.
