It was opened in 1993 as a Foro de la Comedia (The Comedy Forum) but in 2003 it was reopened with the current name. Here are held theater plays that revolve around the human condition, with flairs of comedy and tragedy. Usually the content of their works is highly explicit and is recommended for an adult audience, although, occasionally, they also have special presentations for children.
Their purpose is focused on creating an intimate space of closeness between the artist and the viewer, using for this avant-garde and minimalist styles.
Since 2008 this building houses the company Teatro del Árbol.
