It is located in Cuajimalpa center. The place exhibits Códice Techialoyan’s copies, that tells the origens of prehispanic people in the area. Copies of decrees that abolished slavery are also preserved as well as the tribute payments made after Acta de Consumación de la independencia.
This place was the first museum in the district and many years ago it was the San Luisito’s meson, where Priest Hidalgo stayed in 1810, before Batalla del Monte de las Cruces.
It is a museum which presents Independence tradition, ancestors and ideals of Mexican society.
