Av. de la República s/n, Col. Tabacalera. 06030, Alameda
True, the main attraction is not the square itself, but the Museum and Monument to the Revolution that stands at the center of the esplanade. However, the square become a place of mass demonstrations, even though the original design of this space was a Porfirio work and it was interrumpted because of the armed movements of 1910.
The square is bounded by Avenida de la República and some of the surrounding buildings have been built in art déco style.
