The Tequila and Mezcal Museum (Mutem) in Garibaldi is a sign of the renewal of the Historic Center. Its mission is to disseminate and promote the heritage and cultural identity of Mexico, specifically through two of its most traditional drinks.
The museum presents itself as a dynamic and versatile venue, full of exhibitions, talks, lectures, concerts, presentations of Mexican distillates, gastronomy and other cultural events. It is spread over two rooms: one dealing with the tequila and mezcal, while the second highlights the history of the Mariachi and Garibaldi Plaza. It also offers tours of the neighborhood following four routes, ideal for exploring the history, traditions and the meeting of eras.
