A concert of exquisite sound

imagine...

Enjoy the best sound in Latin America. Perceive the nuances, colors and textures of each note. Marvel at the exquisite harmony that surrounds you. The Sala Nezahualcóyotl (Nezahualcoyotl Hall) in the Centro Cultural Universitario (University Cultural Center) is internationally recognized for its brilliant sound.

Upon arrival, you'll notice the building of volcanic rock emerging from the scree. Go into the room. It is a cozy place with comfortable seats that allow you to closely observe the teachers and appreciate every detail. You will feel part of the energy generated by the orchestra in its performance. But we suggest you close your eyes and concentrate on the sensory experience where sound is the protagonist.

The secret is in the room layout and the engineering behind the design. The stage is in the center, surrounded by stalls seats and raised seating for the public. Designed specifically for symphonic music, a sounding under the stage and special panels on the roof make the sound flow into the room and it reaches your ears with excellent sharpness, wherever you are. Do you feel the music vibrate inside you?

The Nezahualcoyotl Hall is the headquarters of the UNAM's Philarmonica Orchestra of Universiy of Mexico (OFUNAM). Eduardo Mata University Young Orchestra and college choirs also perform here.

Check the programming and do not hesitate to come. Listening to a concert in this room is one of the most remarkable experiences for a fan of classical music.

The University Cultural Center also has another hall for chamber music.
