On top of the Cathedral domes

TOP EXPERIENCES · Family, History
Take 1 hour

What do the angels see? The magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral has a bird's (or angel's) eye view. Climb up the magical spiral staircase to the bell tower. If you think it's easy to swing the bells, try;) This place, previously inaccessible, is full of legends. Did you know there's a bell that was punished as a killer?

It's time to explore. You are in the very roof of the Cathedral and the views are spectacular, before you, the huge Zocalo. You don't get this perspective from any other place. Look around you have a 360º view of the city center. Enjoy yourself and walk around in this movie set. You can walk among the cupolas and look closely at the dome. Peek through the windows and see the nave of the Cathedral from the top. You cannot miss it

Upon entering the eastern door of the Cathedral you will see the counter to buy tickets for the tour, which takes place every hour until 6 pm.

You have to climb steep stairs and then walk on an uneven roof. Wear comfortable shoes and keep your eye on young children.
