The adventure of learning and the adrenaline of the fair. An unforgettable family day out. The second section of Chapultepec Forest is a haven for the little ones (and their parents). We have three suggestions for you: Technological Museum (MUTEC), Papalote Children’s Museum, and Chapultepec Fair.

When you enter Chapultepec, turn left to get to the MUTEC, the Federal Electricity Commission’s Technological Museum. If your kids like science, they’ll love the activities with robots, and Energy Park and the Electropolis. And of course, the Planetarium is a must.

The following two stops are to the right of the entrance: Papalote and Chapultepec Fair. The first is a place to discover, learn, arouse curiosity, and awaken the senses. Go to the top of the Ramón Tree to discover its surprises. Does anyone want to sleep on a bed of nails? How about make a Lego city? A museum aimed at children, from the very youngest in the family to the young at heart. Don’t miss the movies on the IMAX screen and the Domo Digital.

Finally, the Chapultepec Fair promises a full day of activities with excitement for everyone. There are attractions for kids, teens and adults. No one will get bored here. Some people compete to see who can go on the most rides in one day! You can also go to the dolphin show, or on a stroll through the reptile house.

Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing for the day. All locations are designed to cater to families with strollers. You can’t enter anywhere with food or drinks.

You can eat inside Papalote or at one of the stalls on the street.
