You will start your adventure in a beautiful hotel that opened its doors during the regime of Porfirio Díaz in 1907, the Hotel Geneve.

The first photographs of Geneve were made by Guillermo Kahlo, and curiously in 1907, the year the hotel opened its doors, his daughter was born, the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.

In February of 1921, one year after the prohibition time stared in the US, the first plans to turn Mexico into a center of international tourist attraction were initiated.

Between 1909 and 1953 the Hotel Geneve received people from 5 continents, it was difficult in Mexico to find a more cosmopolitan place.
