We have a lot of stories…for children

Telling stories to let children’s imagination fly. Stories that take you to real or invented places, that thrill, captivate, intrigue and surprise, that teach you or make you laugh and cry. We are all entranced by a good story, and storytelling has always been part of our lives. From time immemorial, the end of the day, families used to gather around the fire or stove, and the elders would recount their own experiences as well as the stories they had been told by their grandparents.

We propose reliving the excitement of sitting down to listen and sharing the experience with your children. The art of storytelling is what the Givers of Words provide. They give your children the chance to experience the magic of stories and legends. These stories  are vividly told by storyteller, who captivates children’s curiosity and takes us all on a fantastic journey to places that can only be reached by the imagination.

At the Givers of Words, meetings there are stories but also songs, games and life lessons such as solidarity, tolerance, relationships and lots of learning. A perfect place to spend a fun weekend with your family.

Givers of words is a UNAM program. Admission is free and the stories are told on Saturdays and Sundays:

CCU Ciudad Universitaria at  1 pm

CCU Tlatelolco at 1 pm

Chopo Museum at 12:30 midday
