What it is. A beauty and body-treatment centre on Insurgentes Sur, in San José Insurgentes, focused on machine-based treatments: radiofrequency, endermology, a thermal physiotherapy bed, tanning and lipomassage.

What to expect. This is a technical-treatment spa rather than a relaxation one: the weight is on the equipment and on multi-session programmes, not on traditional massage. If what you want is to switch off after a long flight, ask explicitly about a relaxation massage before booking.

Before you sign up. With machine-based treatments it is worth asking three things: how many sessions make up the programme — it is rarely just one — which professional administers them, and what the contraindications are. And confirm the total price, not the price of a single session.

Practicalities. Monday to Friday 08:00 to 21:30 and Saturdays until 17:00; closed on Sundays. Insurgentes Sur #1605: Metrobús line 1 runs along the avenue and stops very close, and Metro Barranca del Muerto is not far.
