Sense Spa

What it is. A spa in Jardines del Pedregal, in the south of the city, with rituals, facials, massages, body wraps and aesthetic-medicine services, plus equipment such as a tanning bed and radiofrequency.

What to distinguish. Two different things sit side by side here: relaxation treatments — massages, facials, wraps — and aesthetic medicine and machine-based procedures. If you want the first, ask explicitly for spa services; if the second interests you, ask which professional performs it and what the results and contraindications are, because not every machine suits every case.

Practicalities. Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 19:00 and closed on Sundays. It works by appointment. Paseo del Pedregal #645, in Jardines del Pedregal: a residential area with no Metro nearby, so car or taxi is the practical option.

What is close by. El Pedregal is the modernist estate built on the lava of the Xitle volcano, with nineteen-fifties architecture; Ciudad Universitaria, with its World Heritage campus, is a few minutes away.
