What this section covers. Packages that bundle accommodation with tours, transfers or meals.

Where to stay, and why it matters more than the hotel. In a city this size, the neighbourhood decides your trip more than the room does. The historic centre puts you within walking distance of the Zócalo, the cathedral, the Templo Mayor and Bellas Artes. The Roma and Condesa are the walkable, leafy, restaurant-dense option. Polanco is the expensive and polished one. The Reforma corridor is the best connected. Coyoacán is quiet and far from everything else.

The one to avoid unless you have a reason. Santa Fe. It has no Metro, its approach roads saturate as the offices fill and empty, and the centre is 40 to 60 minutes away. It makes sense only if your business is there.

What to confirm in any package. Which nights are included and on which dates; whether transfers are from MEX or from Felipe Ángeles, which is 45 km north and a different proposition; what the cancellation terms are; and whether the hotel is where you think it is — colonia names repeat across the city.

Practical notes. Prices and validity change; confirm directly with the operator.
