Diego Rivera is the creator of this mural, inspired by the carnival of Huejotzingo. It consisted of four portable panels, which were originally to decorate the Hotel Reforma, but for political reasons it was removed and transferred to Bellas Artes.
The names of the four blocks were: La Dictadura, La Danza de los Huichilobos, México Folklórico y Turístico and Leyenda de Agustín Lorenzo.
