What is there. A wide park where green space dominates, opened in 1987. Inside there is a reflecting pool, an audiorama —an open-air listening space— a bandstand, palapas for shade, children's playgrounds and a skating track, plus bicycle rental.
How it is used. This is the main public park of the north-west of the city: runners early, families and skaters in the afternoon, and weekend crowds around the pool and the palapas. The audiorama is the unusual part, a quiet corner designed for sitting and listening rather than exercising.
Getting there. In Azcapotzalco, in the north of the city. Metro Line 6 serves the borough —Azcapotzalco and Ferrería/Arena Ciudad de México stations are the practical access points, the latter also putting you next to the Arena Ciudad de México.
