What it is. A cultural forum in the south of Mexico City. Part of the building once served as a juvenile centre, then became the Cine Tlalpan; today the hall hosts concerts, theatre and screenings. It is the home of the Ollin Kan festival, devoted to world and indigenous music.
Before you go. The programme changes often and is not always published online: the reliable way is to call the number listed and ask what is on and at what time. On festival nights the hall fills up, so arrive early.
Getting there. In central Tlalpan, beside the main square and the San Agustín church. There is no metro nearby: the Tren Ligero to Huipulco, or a bus from Universidad station on Line 3, are the simplest options.
