Parque Santa Úrsula

What it is. A few steps from the Estadio Azteca, this is where people come to play fast football or to run; there are playgrounds and recreation areas alongside. It is a working neighbourhood park rather than a sight.

When it is useful. Mainly on match days: if you are going to the Estadio Azteca, this is the open space where people gather before kick-off and wait out the crush afterwards. Otherwise it serves the surrounding colonia, busiest early mornings and at weekends.

Getting there. In Santa Úrsula Coapa, south of the city. Take the Tren Ligero to Estadio Azteca station, from the Tasqueña terminus of metro Line 2; the park is a short walk from there.
