Why it is worth knowing. At first glance this looks like an error on the map, but it is an actual record: the smallest square in the Historic Centre. The whole thing is 234 square metres, with three benches and a small playground, used by visitors to the church beside it and by people who live on the block.
What to make of it. It works as what it is —a breather in the middle of the city, the kind of corner you notice only if you are walking without a fixed route. Take it as a stop between larger sights rather than a destination: the Zócalo, the Museo de la Ciudad de México and the Claustro de Sor Juana are all within a short walk.
Where it is. On Calle San Salvador El Seco, in the Centro, south-east of the Zócalo. Isabel la Católica and Pino Suárez metro stations are the closest.
