What is there. The park sits inside the Unidad Deportiva Francisco I. Madero and is built around large concrete bowls of different sizes —the reason it is described as one of the biggest places to skate in Latin America. This is a bowl park rather than a street spot: transitions, coping and depth, for riders who are past the learning stage.
Practical notes. It is a public facility, so it is free and busy at weekends and after school hours; weekday mornings are the quietest. Bring water and a helmet —the bowls are deep— and expect no shade over the concrete.
Getting there. In the Cabeza de Juárez area of Iztapalapa, in the east of the city. UAM-I and Constitución de 1917 stations on metro Line 8 are the closest, with local transport from there.
