in detail

The Alameda Central was the first park in the Americas and it has been renovated to give visitors a place of relaxation and tranquility preserving its historic majesty. It has chairs, centennial trees, new pavement, sculptures and fountains fill of children that want to play with water every weekend. It shares space with the iconic Palace of Fine Arts.

The space has been used for performances, cultural events, caravans and more. Many tourists come just to see the restored sculptures: Las Américas, las Danaides, Neptuno, las Ninfas 1 and 2, Mercurio, la Primavera and Venus.

It also features a unique kiosk at the north wing and many use Alameda to look at the Hemiciclo a Juárez.
