It is one of the most representative sculptures of Paseo de la Reforma. Designed by Juan Fernando Olaguíbel Guanajuato, the fountain was the work of the Mexican architect Vicente Mendiola. Its original name was La flechadora de las estrellas del Norte but eventually it became known as Diana Cazadora. It is a replica of the original in Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo.
