Uruapan #17 int. 101, Col. Roma Norte. Del. Cuauhtémoc 06700, Condesa
What it is. Not a place to visit: a company selling experiences as gift certificates, with an office in the Roma. You buy a certificate and whoever receives it redeems it for the activity they choose — a parachute jump, driving a Ferrari, a hot-stone massage, a spa day, a hotel stay or a gourmet dinner, among many others.
How it works. The catalogue covers adventure, wellbeing, food and accommodation, and the activities take place at various points across the city and the country, not at this address. The office is for buying and for answering questions.
What to ask before you buy. Three things, always: how long the certificate is valid; whether the activity needs to be booked in advance — parachuting and driving almost always do, and both depend on the weather; and what happens if it is cancelled for bad weather. Confirm too whether there are age, weight or health restrictions.
Practicalities. Uruapan #17, in Roma Norte. Open every day from 09:00 to 19:00. Metro Hospital General and Insurgentes are nearby.
