Eje 1 Norte Mosqueta #259, Col. Buenavista. 06350, The North
What it is. A large, very well connected mall on Eje 1 Norte in Buenavista, on the northern edge of the Historic Centre. Inside there are cinemas, restaurants, banks, a supermarket, a long list of shops and an ice rink; the detail that sets it apart is the viewpoint on the top floor, with a wide, free view over the city.
Why it is useful to a visitor. It sits directly beside Buenavista station, the terminal of the Tren Suburbano to the State of Mexico, and a few minutes from Metro Revolución and the Insurgentes Metrobús corridor —so it is the natural place to break a journey, eat, or wait out a connection. The rooftop view is reason enough for a short stop.
Practical notes. Open 07:00–23:00 every day, which is unusually early for a mall here. Paid parking. The Zócalo is about twenty-five minutes away on foot or one short metro hop.
