It is a very special place because it is the third oldest canteen in Mexico City and is open to everyone over 18 years of age. The two older canteens no longer exist, so it could be considered the oldest. It dates back to 1874, when only men were allowed inside for it was not considered appropriate for women to enter such places in those days. Today it is a site where healthy coexistence prevails and women can also enjoy a game of dominoes.
