Bosque de Chapultepec I Sección s/n, Col. Bosque de Chapultepec. 11580, Polanco-Chapultepec
On this mural, the architect and painter Juan O’Gorman reflected the great figures who shaped the separatist movement in Spain. It is on display at the National History Museum in Chapultepec Castle.
This work was the centrepiece of the exhibition “The Dawn of a nation: from New Spain to Mexico, 1765-1836”, and it remains one of the most important attractions for visitors, regardless of which specific collection it forms.
