The Tibet House in México is an educational and cultural institution founded July 6, 1989 with the assistance of the XIV Dalai Lama, the Tibet Government in Exile and the Tibet Office in New York. It is the first official cultural representation of the Tibetan people in Latin America.

Its objectives are to inspire compassion and love for the classic Buddhist Tibetan culture, so it is accessible to everyone without distinction of creed, race or sexual orientation.
