What this is. A tourist information desk inside the Hotel Benidorm — free to use whether or not you are staying. Printed maps of the city and the Metro, transport routes and verified opening hours.
Where it puts you. In the belt between the historic centre and Paseo de la Reforma, within reach on foot of the Alameda Central — the oldest public park in the Americas, laid out in 1592 — the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Museo Mural Diego Rivera and the Monumento a la Revolución with its viewing deck.
What to ask here. Walking routes rather than transport: this part of the city is best covered on foot, and the module can mark a route that takes in the Alameda, Bellas Artes and Madero in a single morning. Ask also which museums close on Mondays.
Practical notes. Metro Hidalgo, lines 2 and 3, Juárez, line 3, and Revolución, line 2, are all within a few minutes. The module keeps daylight hours; the hotel's own reception can answer basic questions outside them.
