Centro Comercial Plaza Inn

What it is. A shopping centre on Insurgentes Sur, in Guadalupe Inn, recognisable by its two glass towers, with a strong presence of financial offices: banks, shops, restaurants, cafes and leisure areas.

Who it works for. It is an office mall rather than a strolling one: on weekdays it fills at lunchtime with people working in the towers, and at weekends it is quiet. It solves a bank, a meal and errands if you are on the Insurgentes Sur corridor.

Where it fits. It sits halfway between Del Valle and San Ángel, on the axis that connects the centre with the south. If you are heading to San Ángel or Coyoacán along Insurgentes, it is on the way.

Practicalities. Open every day from 10:00 to 20:00. Insurgentes Sur #1971. Metrobús line 1 runs along the avenue and stops opposite; Metro Barranca del Muerto, line 7, is a few minutes away.
