What it is. A restaurant-cabaret on Insurgentes Sur, in Del Valle, where you have dinner — steaks, seafood and poultry — while a show in the style of a 1920s Parisian cabaret runs in front of you. The house show is called Bonheur.

What kind of night out this is. Dinner with a show, not a club: you book a table, you eat, and the show happens in front of you. It works for a celebration, an anniversary or a group evening that wants something other than a normal restaurant. The formula is rare in this city.

What you need to plan. It opens Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 02:00 and is closed on Saturday and Sunday — exactly the opposite of what you would expect from a cabaret. Confirm by phone what time the show itself starts, since it does not coincide with opening, whether there is a minimum spend, and whether there is a dress code.

Getting there. Insurgentes Sur #858. Metrobús line 1 runs along the avenue and stops very close; Metro Niños Héroes and Hospital General are not far.
