Plaza San Matías s/n, Col. La Asunción. 08600, Iztacalco
The church of San Matías was built in the sixteenth century and remodeled in the eighteenth century, so it retains its colonial appearance. Besides being a parish church, the property served as a small Franciscan convent in colonial times.
The neighborhood of La Asunción has a historic square that was restored in 2012 and which now has artistic lighting, stamped concrete floor and green areas.
