The chain. P.F. Chang's is an American chain of Asian cooking — Chinese, Japanese and south-east Asian — in a white-tablecloth format, with dishes meant to be shared in the middle of the table. In Mexico it operates in shopping centres and office districts, at above-average prices with full table service. It is not authentic Chinese cooking: it is Asian food adapted to a Western palate, and it is worth knowing that before you book.
This branch. In the Acoxpa and Coapa area, in the south of the city, inside the local circuit of shopping plazas. This is upper-middle-class residential ground with no tourist interest of its own.
Getting there and when. There is no Metro nearby: car or taxi is the practical option, with mall parking. Open 12:00 to 23:00; it fills on Friday and Saturday evenings and at Sunday lunch, when whole families come, so booking is worthwhile.
