The chain. P.F. Chang's is an American chain of Asian cooking — Chinese, Japanese and south-east Asian — in a white-tablecloth format, with dishes meant to be shared in the middle of the table. In Mexico it operates in shopping centres and office districts, at above-average prices with full table service. It is not authentic Chinese cooking: it is Asian food adapted to a Western palate, and it is worth knowing that before you book.
This branch. Inside the Reforma 222 shopping centre, on Paseo de la Reforma, a few steps from the Ángel de la Independencia and the Zona Rosa. It is the most central branch and the easiest to reach without a car.
Getting there and when. Metro Insurgentes, line 1, is two minutes away and the Reforma Metrobús stops opposite; the mall has parking. Open 12:00 to 23:00. On Sunday mornings Reforma closes to traffic for the cycling paseo, which makes walking easy and driving hard.
