The chain. P.F. Chang's is an American chain of Asian cooking — Chinese, Japanese and south-east Asian — in a white-tablecloth format, with dishes meant to be shared in the middle of the table. In Mexico it operates in shopping centres and office districts, at above-average prices with full table service. It is not authentic Chinese cooking: it is Asian food adapted to a Western palate, and it is worth knowing that before you book.
This branch. Inside the Santa Fe shopping centre, in the corporate district in the west. It is the most-used formal lunch option for people working in the towers around it.
Getting there and when. Santa Fe has no Metro: you arrive by car, by app taxi or on the buses from Tacubaya and Observatorio; the mall has ample parking. Open 12:00 to 23:00. On weekdays it fills at lunchtime with office workers and at weekends with shoppers; the roads into the district saturate as the offices empty.
