Campo Marte

First, a correction. Map directories list this as "Casino Campo Marte" and group it with the city's gaming halls, but this place is not a casino. The word casino is used here in its older Spanish sense of a social club or events hall. Campo Marte is a military equestrian and events ground on the edge of Chapultepec, used for official ceremonies, horse shows, concerts and large private events.

What actually happens here. Equestrian competitions and military ceremonies are the core use; the grounds also host concerts and fairs, which is when the public gets in. There is no gaming of any kind, and no walk-in access on ordinary days.

Where it is. On Paseo de la Reforma beside the Bosque de Chapultepec, next to the Auditorio Nacional and the Campo Militar Marte. Auditorio station on metro Line 7 is the closest. If you are looking for an actual gaming hall in the area, those are listed separately in the casino section.
