Club de Golf México

Where it came from. The Club de Golf México was created during Miguel Alemán's presidency, between 1946 and 1952, as an ambitious project tied to the idea of Mexican modernity —the same period that produced Ciudad Universitaria and the city's first skyscrapers. Today it is a residential area and golf club.

Access. This is important before you plan anything: the club is private and reserved for members and their guests. It is not a public course, so there is no visitor access, green fee or tour. If you want to play golf in the city, look for the public and semi-private courses instead.

Where it is. In the south of the city, in the Tlalpan area, surrounded by one of the city's wealthiest residential districts. The Tren Ligero and Calzada de Tlalpan serve the general area, but reaching the club itself requires a car.
