Primer Nivel Night Club

What it is. A club on calle Florencia, in the Zona Rosa, known for its foam parties and for a music policy that changes from night to night: electronic one day, salsa or Mexican rock the next. It is built for group nights out.

What a foam party is. Literal: the dance floor fills with foam up to waist height. Worth knowing before you choose what to wear and, above all, before you put your phone or camera in a pocket. Closed shoes with grip beat anything else.

Practicalities. Open Friday and Saturday from 19:00 to 03:00 and closed the rest of the week. There is usually a cover charge and a minimum spend; ask what kind of night it is before you pay to get in, because the music varies a lot.

Where it is. Florencia #56, in colonia Juárez, in the heart of the Zona Rosa: dozens of venues within a few blocks, all walkable. Metro Insurgentes, line 1, is two minutes away; for the trip back, use an app taxi.
