What it is. The culinary experience has accompanied this chain since 1964, under the "very important person" concept —that is the stamp that still distinguishes these restaurants. Expect a broad, familiar menu: breakfasts, enchiladas, soups, sandwiches, burgers and set meals.
Why this branch matters. It is at the airport, which makes it the practical option when your flight leaves at dawn or your layover runs long: a full meal rather than a snack, with table service and bathrooms, before you go through security. It is also one of the few places around the terminals where you can sit down for an hour without rushing.
Getting there. At Mexico City International Airport. Terminal Aérea station on metro Line 5 serves Terminal 1, and Metrobús Line 4 connects both terminals with the Historic Centre.
