What it is. A pool hall in the Condesa, on calle Sonora, with coloured walls, lounge sofas, a cocktail list and a wide beer selection. It is the Condesa version of the pool hall: more polished and more comfortable than a traditional salon.
Who it works for. A group that wants to play without the cantina atmosphere, and anyone looking for something to do in the Condesa beyond sitting down to drink. Tables are charged by the hour.
Watch the hours. They are very short and very unusual: 12:00 to 16:00 Monday to Saturday and 14:00 to 16:00 on Sundays. In other words it is a midday pool hall, not an evening one — exactly the opposite of what you would expect in this neighbourhood. Confirm by phone before going.
Where it is. Sonora #207, in the thick of the Condesa circuit, a few streets from Parque México. Metro Chilpancingo and Sevilla are a few minutes on foot.
