Av. José Loreto Fabela 190, San Juan de Aragón VII Secc. 07910
What it is. A large municipal sports centre in San Juan de Aragón, in Gustavo A. Madero, and one of the best-kept public facilities of its kind in the city: it was refurbished in 2014 to get more out of every space. Alongside football and volleyball courts there is a skating rink, running space, and a programme of classes —athletics, volleyball, zumba, tennis, skating— plus adult primary and secondary education in its covered and open-air halls.
Who it suits. Visitors staying in the north-east of the city who want somewhere to train or skate without joining a private club. It is neighbourhood infrastructure rather than a sight, and it is busiest early in the morning and after work.
Practical notes. It opens at 06:15 and closes at 21:00 every day. Fees are low; bring cash and, for the rink, your own skates if you have them. Call ahead on the number listed if you want a specific class, as schedules change by term.
