Image Center (Centro de la Imagen)

In 2014 the Image Center turned 20 years of age and its interiors were refurbished to give a modern twist. It is a center where photographs of domestic and foreign artists are exhibited and research, training, analysis and dissemination of photography and imaging is performed. The center also is responsible for the Photography Biennial, the Fotoseptiembre Festival, the Seminar of Contemporary Photography and the magazine Luna Córnea. In 2015 it will be fitted with a vault for the custody of photographic material, a library, classrooms for workshops, an auditorium and a museum shop.
