The India Culture House in Mexico AC was founded in 1993 by a group of intellectuals interested in the culture of that country, among whom were Octavio Paz, Jorge Carpizo, Victor L. Urquidi, Shri Ramakrishnan and others.
Currently it is a space to learn about the culture, science, religion and philosophy of India through dialogue between the two countries, to promote understanding and exchange. Furthermore, the teaching of classical and modern languages of India is promoted along with knowledge related to the lifestyle of that nation.
