Museo de Anatomopatología

This is a museum unique in its kind and it is one of the most complete in the American continent. It was created by Doctor Manuel H. Sarvide and amplified by Doctor Aline Schunemann in 1971. In its beginnings, the exhibition was just a little sample. Nevertheless, assemblings of pieces in acrylic material containers were started and ever since growth did not stop. In 1991, with new facilities, formal preservation of the pieces by means of plastination was iniciated.

Nowadays, this museum receives thousands of visitors every year. It exhibits organs of diverse specimens that present some sort of illness, thus cuts of animal organs may be observed, and much more.
