The Modo describes who we are through everyday objects. The objects speak of a society, a historic moment, fashions and trends... Located in one of the few art nouveau buildings left standing in Mexico City, the Modo is part of the vibrant arts community of the Roma area.
A place to jump-start the nostalgia that emphasizes communication and design in Mexico from a historical perspective. It has a collection of 100,000 items from 1810 to the present day. The most important collections are historical documents, photographs, political and funeral propaganda, and examples of packaging design, packaging, advertising, graphic arts and artifacts in disuse. It has items that children don't recognize, such as cassettes, vinyl records, old Nivea creams, La Central matchbooks, a Sony Lewfer turntable and other everyday items that were part of the lives of people in the past.
The museum was allied with Inspireka brand to create a fun room where children can play while learning.
