The bust of Pedro Domingo Murillo is situated on a marble structure and commemorates the bicentennial of the Bolivian revolution. Murillo led a group of patriots who conspired and rebelled in 1809 for the release of the lands of Alto Peru. This movement was known as the Peace Revolution. The sculpture is located inside Parque América, a few steps away from the Parroquia de San Agustín (St. Augustine Parish Church).
