This is one of the most important outdoor historical walks. This avenue, one of the most important in the city, lends its space for 39 statues to form part of present-day Mexico. Some of the figures located on the promenade are Mariano Esciobedo, Sóstenes Rocha, José María Lafragua, Vicente Riva Palacio, among others.

They were placed in two stages, the first was in 1889, and they are ordered according to the state of the republic that sent them.
