This stadium has the capacity to hold over 39,000 people. Since 1996, this is the house of the Cruz Azul FC from the Major Lease of Mexico, even though in its inception it was home for the América FC. Facilities are compounded by 92 boxes, two football lockers, two preliminary dresser rooms, referee dresser rooms and a conference hall for 50 people and close circuit. It is internally connected to the Monumental Plaza de Toros, located in the south of the city, a few minutes away from Insurgentes avenue. Even though it is not a place strictly for children, it is not rare to find one in every game, sharing and supporting, alongside the families, their favorite soccer team.
