Centro de Creación Literaria Xavier Villaurrutia

It opened in 2010 with the aim of training literary creators through diploma courses, seminars, courses and workshops where the genres of poetry, fiction and drama are taught, as well as lectures and meetings with writers with an established career. These courses are non-formal education even if a certificate is awarded by the National Institute of Fine Arts and they serve to give students theoretical and conceptual tools and strategies for writing. There are cycles such as Literary Guides and Story Time. It also has five sound insulated reading rooms and a library with a collection of over 3500 books.
