Why it is worth seeking out. Because this is the kind of space where you see independent theatre and small-scale work at low prices — or free — in a neighbourhood where almost everything else is expensive. It is local programming, not a commercial listing.
How to find out what is on. The programme is announced at short notice and the office hours are short: Monday to Thursday until 18:30 and Friday and Saturday mornings only; closed on Sunday. Call the numbers on the listing to ask what is on before you go.
Where it is. Mérida #98, in Roma Norte, a few streets from Plaza Río de Janeiro and on the same street as Patrick Miller. Metro Insurgentes and Hospital General are nearby.
