La Antigua Roma is a pulque bar with a long standing tradition in the downtown of Mexico City, located a few streets away from Garibaldi street. Its architecture is still faithful to the original pulque bars, with two doors, one for men that could enter the place and drink their pulque sitting on a table or in the bar, and another one just for female customers that could only ask for take away pulque. Even though that practice is no longer preserved, lots of pulque bars kept the design.

As in other pulque bars, in La Antigua Roma you can finds pulques flavoured with seasonal fruits or completely natural. It also has a rocola and a fun atmosphere.
