Las Mercedes

At Las Mercedes the flavors of Mexico are honored and extolled, with emphasis on the region of Los Altos de Jalisco, since the dishes are the recipes of Grandmother Mercedes Flores. You can find “sopecitos”, “quesadillas”, “chalupas” among the appetizers; and Sonoran soup with zucchini, mushrooms, poblano chili strips and manchego cheese, noodle soup, and “mole de olla” among the starters; and the highlights of the main courses include the Oaxacan “tasajo” beef, which is grilled over charcoal and served with refried beans and guacamole, the barbequed sausages, as well as beef enchilada with grilled cactus and refried beans, and Michoacan style “carnitas” meat cuts.
